Back to the Whiskers — or, What This Storm Is All About

I started this blog years ago — then forgot about it, as one does with old sweaters, ex-boyfriends, and most login credentials.

But the name stuck. Winterwhiskers.

A place for the gentle storms, the thawing memories, the paw prints we leave behind without noticing.

This isn’t a blog about cats (though a certain Bernard may intrude). It’s about remembering things — and forgetting them, too. It’s about how the internet once felt like a place where people listened, laughed, and left each other long, heartfelt comments.

And yes, I use the em dash — and have for decades. Long before AI started tossing them around like breadcrumbs.
