The Apple Cart, Gerry, and the Magic of an iPhone 🍏💫

Sometimes, it’s the little things that sparkle the brightest — like the day I unboxed my very first iPhone, the magical 4s. Holding it in my hands felt like pure wizardry, a delicious mix of wonder and tech-love.

Gerry, my late husband, was a patient audience to all my Apple adventures — even if he wasn’t quite as enchanted by the latest gadgets as I was. One afternoon, as I wrestled with some new feature, utterly baffled, he looked up and asked with a perfectly straight face:

“So… if you do this or that, would that upset the apple cart?”

I laughed so hard I nearly dropped the phone. There he was, totally serious, yet blissfully missing the pun — “Apple” not as the fruit, but the company that had me all enchanted! 🍎😄

That moment wasn’t just funny; it was warm and grounding. Through all the evolving devices and shiny new toys, some things stay beautifully simple — love, patience, and sharing those little discoveries together.

Years later, I’m still marveling at my Apple ecosystem — matching my iPhone case to my watchband, and chuckling every time I think of that apple cart.

Sometimes, it’s the tech that connects us… but it’s the moments that make the magic.
